Personally, I would decide what type of students you’d ideally like to tutor. The subject, year level and their goals. For example, my website clearly focuses on Methods for Year 11 and 12 for average or struggling students. If you know who you want to mainly help, it’s easier to start finding them. I would then check out the cheatsheet I sent you and apply this idea to it.
There is another reason why specialising is a good idea. If you have students doing a similar year level and subject, you can start to run effective group classes. This means you can reach out to help more people, save yourself time and earn a greater income. I will cover how to do group sessions in a later chapter.
